Craig Reichman
Involved full time in the business as the managing director, a dedicated
dyno tuner and as a major shareholder, Craig is particularly knowledgeable
and researched on the NxGen product range. Making sure he walks the talk,
Craig is the owner of a Time-Attack spec Subaru Impreza, a twin turbo'd 350Z
(kitted by APS) and one of only three street legal South African registered
R34 Skyline GTR's (highly tuned with various components, mainly from HKS).
Craig is an active and accomplished driver taking part in numerous club and
competition events.
Geoff Mortimer
Geoff does not need introduciton for most enthusiasts. He has previously
been South African national champion in both the rally series (driving the
Audi Quattro) as well as twice in Group 5, saloon car (Renault Gordini &
Chevair V8). He also has run several of the country's most professional race
teams, including Ford, Chevrolet, Audi, Volkswagen and Toyota. Geoff has
recently been technical advisor to the factory supported Nissan Junior Team
and advisory to the South African Rally initiative to gain a WRC event in
South Africa. His own motor sport workshop - now incorporated into nXgen
-
Geoff Mortimer MotorSport, was building and maintaining race and rally cars
for many drivers, both amateur and professional. At nXgen, Geoff is the
technical director and is responsible for overall strategy and work on major
rebuilds undertaken by our workshop. Geoff's reputation, knowledge and
racing experience, both locally and internationally, is highly regarded and
nXgen is very privileged that he is an integral part of the nXgen team.
Martin Ciolkosz
Martin, a true petrol head, is a shareholder in the business as well as
holding down a full time job as the founder and managing director of
WirConn, a business closely connected with the electricity ulitity company
Eskom. Martin increasingly spends much of his time working within NxGen,
accompanying Craig in the tuning of client's cars. Martin is a keen Nissan
ambassador owning many historic Nissans including a 1969 Skyline 2000 GTR,
the only one outside of Japan from new. He also
owns a P510 SSS, 240Z, a Renault-Sport Spider and a very special Impreza
22B.
Piet De Kock
Piet has been a part of NxGen since its establishment, where he's been the
cornerstone of the workshop crew. Piet originally cut his teeth in the
automotive business with Rays Engineering in Gwelo, Zimbabwe preparing
Coventry-Climax and Repco Brabham F1 cars for racing drivers such as Johny
Loewe and Sam Tingle. Piet worked in the Rhodesian air force during the war
in that country and was one of a select team servicing all the countries
French sourced Alouette helicopters.
Other NxGen team members
Moses Motetsoe and Jonas Maponyne were respectively involved with nXgen and Geoff Mortimer Motorsport from inception of those businesses.
Other longstanding members of the NxGen team include Carla Schloss, Wimpy Barnard, Clive Cabe, Abel Mayisa and Tryphine Mhlanga.
We are justifiably proud of the NxGen team. Craig's knowledge and passion
continue to drive the business. Martin's ability to be involved in the
business as and when necessary ably assists Craig. Gary's formal business
understanding, Geoff's huge reputation and technical expertise and Piet's
hands-on ability and dedication, collectively make NxGen a force to be
reckoned with.
