The HKS Electronic Valve Controler has improved boost stability for maintaning pressure at high RPMs providing increased top-end power and a new mapping feature allows boost pressure to be precisely tuned for throttle + RPM (or vehicle speed). In addition to the usual features like dual boost settings, the new EVC also offers a selectable kPa or PSI unit of measure and a unique warning feature. If over boosting occurs, boost pressure can be programmed to drop to a user preset level. The new target boost setting makes setup and tuning intuitive and simple. Whilst HKS has historically catered exclusively for the Japanese car market, they have been doing research and development on a range of European car parts over recent years and have now officially launched parts for the following cars:
