Ultimate Street Car Challenge
NxGen would like to congratulate Anton Cronje on flying the NxGen flag high at the bi-annual Ultimate Street Car Challenge. He achieved overall victory by a margin of more than 10 seconds against some stiff competition. This July has been especially busy (and very productive) for Anton: the fastest Subaru at SOCSA’s Phakisa weekend; winner of the BMW Club Gerotek day and now the winner of the Ultimate Street Car Challenge! Well done Anton!
SOCSA Phakisa - Fri 11 July '08
As always, the SOCSA Phakisa weekend proved to be a very worthwhile outing. Good food, (cheap drink), good friends and great track time were to be had. Whilst the weekend’s track time wasn’t a contest, transponders make for some keen competition. Congratulations to Anton in his Subaru and Simon in his Mitsubishi Evo, both of whom broke 1 minute 50 seconds. The first time a Scooby or an Evo has done so. Well done guys, you make NxGen proud!
Always impressive is the Top Secret R34 GT-R, driven by Jade and Dez Gutzeit (and tuned by NxGen). They achieved a 01:43.79 and 01:46.00 respectively, the quickest times of the weekend!
Top Secret R34 GT-R
All in all a great weekend. Well done SOCSA! We at NxGen are proud that seven of the fastest ten cars are customers of ours.
